Even the last several-hour meeting between Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti and that of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa concluded without any agreement.
The meeting was held today at the Kosovo assembly and lasted more than three hours, but even after this meeting the two parties failed to make a government formation agreement.
Before the media, after the meeting, none of the leaders appeared, only LDK spokesman Besian Mustafa, who said there were <x0-> movement” to achieve compliance.
The appointment that began at 1500 has just ended. We have a move to try to reach agreement between both sides. We will, of course, have an upcoming meeting tomorrow, and for details you will be notified tomorrow”, Mustafa said.
Even the Vetevendosje Movement, through a communique for the media after the meeting, has indicated there has been an approach to positions with the Democratic League of Kosovo for forming the ruling coalition, writes news.net.
Through a post on the social network, Facebook, this party has said negotiations towards reaching a coalition agreement will continue on Thursday.
Both first confirmed that they will meet again tomorrow to discuss reaching a coalition agreement.
However, although a coalition agreement between the two parties was reported in the media during the evening. These reports denied VV deputy chairman Besnik Bislimi.
Through a Facebook post, Bislim denied reports that the LDK's VV have agreed to split ministries.
Bislimi has declared that the talks have been renewed intensively, meetings are holding them on daily basis, as well as there are movement and provisional steps, but no agreements.
Otherwise, today's meeting of leaders of both parties targeting the ruling coalition has been the second, following Tuesday's meeting, which took place after a break in meetings since the Kosovo Assembly Constitution.
In this session, Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca from the Vetevendosje Movement has been named.
In addition to these meetings, Kurti and Mustafa, had many other meetings, but no one resulted in reaching an agreement.
We remember that the Vetevendosje Movement has mostly won votes in early elections held in Kosovo on 6 October.
This election process has been held after Ramush Haradinaj has resigned from the position of Kosovo prime minister, since he had received an invitation for testimony from The Hague-based Special Court.
