Leaders of the Presevo Valley political parties have decided to join a single list in parliamentary elections in Serbia.
Albanian political parties in the Valley, the Party for Democratic Action, the Alternative for Change, the Democratic Party, the Reform Movement in the DPA and the Democratic Progress Movement have managed to create a deal for the first time, where they will be represented with a programme in Serbia's upcoming parliamentary elections.
Their joint programme will be called the “Albanian Democratic Alternative ♫ United Valley and marks the union of parties to ensure a higher representation and create a strong position by parliamentary elections in Serbia.
Signing this joint agreement took place in Tirana between representatives of Albanian Valley parties and the presence of incumbent Minister for Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj.
This union will serve not only empowering the Presevo Valley but also boosting national inspiration of Albanians in general. The signatory parties of this agreement today have set the most valuable example of overcoming internal differences in the function of the Presevo Valley and national interests in general”.
