Borell in Kosovo today: Determined to Continue Dialogue With Belgrade

According to the indictment, at around 12:00 am, it will be expected by the country's president, Hashim Thaci, in his cabinet. Afterwards, both will have an address for the media.

Later, the chief of European diplomacy will have a meeting with political subjects in the Kosovo Parliament's spaces.

Borell will also visit KEK, while leaving for Prizren.

In this municipality, the Spaniard will meet with Mytaher Haskuka chairman and communities.

On the eve of his visit, Borell said that much work awaits us ahead of which normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade is required.

I am looking forward to my first official visit to the Western Balkans that shows our commitment to the EU's perspective of the region, its stability, security and prosperity. will be a priority during my mandate and in view of my personal determination to advance the EU-enlightened dialogue, I have wanted to visit Kosovo and Serbia in the region first. There are many important jobs ahead, including normalising relations between Belgrade and Pristina”, Borrell said.

After Pristina, Borrell will also visit Belgrade, where he will meet with political leaders, including President Aleksandar Vuciq.
