Bata: Procuroia to address the decision issued by the Environment Ministry to build the neighborhood in Badovc

I had a major problem with the consent of building this neighbourhood to the Ministry of Environment and Space Planning.

According to her, the decision issued by this minister should be seriously addressed by the Prosecution and that building of the neighbourhood would conflict with the Urban Development Plan adopted in the Pristina Municipal Assembly.

The construction project called “Lakeside Gardens”, which is trying to realise near Lake Badovci, there is no construction permit from the Pristina municipality and as such is contrary to the law. There is no building permit, and the company in question has not even applied for one.

The main problem here, according to me, is that the institution that should protect the environment from degradation has driven degradation and violation of the law with its decisions.

The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning has issued a decision that can be built in this part and conditioning the Pristina municipality to issue the building conditions.

This ministry's decision should be taken seriously by the prosecution because there seems to be no priority for citizens' health and, above all, law enforcement. Construction in this part of town is in total violation of the Urban Development Plan that we approved in the Assembly.
