The founding prosecutor in Prizren reports that an explosion occurred in the village of Zhur last night during a raid on the suspect's home, under suspicion of domestic violence and possession of narcotics in the village of Zhur, which resulted in three police officials and a child (from the suspect's family).
As a result of injuries to the police officer with the initial S.Th., he has passed away, while two other police officials with initials A. M, and J.H., as well as the child are lying in hospital under intensive medical care, but outside the risk of life.
During the actions taken by the prosecution's side, the suspect with initials was arrested. B, due to criminal offence “The cause of total risk” by Article 356 paragraph 5 concerning paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK). As for the prosecutor, suspect I. B, it has been detained in 48 hours' length, and during the day it is expected that at the Constitutional Court in Prizren the same demand for the detention measure's appointment is under way. The Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren is taking all investigative actions to complete the case.
