The American expert on Middle Eastern politics and issues, Alon Ben Meir, who is also connoisseur of political circumstances in Kosovo, is saying that nonliberalisation of visas can negatively affect other aspects of the country.
Through a tweet, he has said Kosovo is being violated by the right to visa liberalisation even though it has met all criteria required by the EU, Periscopi submits.
As a single isolated state in the Balkans, Ben Meir says we should be surprised to increase the agenda of Turkish President Tayip Erdogan in Kosovo, where, according to him, this is done for personal and state benefits.
“Anni why they have met all EU conditions. Kosovo still does not have visa liberalisation, the only isolated state in the Balkans. And don't be surprised at the rise of Erdogan's evil agenda to influence this country for its personal interests”, Ben Meir wrote in Titter. /Periscopi
