Failure to use all means for capital investment has conveyed the Pristina municipality this year. Failure to realise any major project during the year we leave behind for the opposition in the capital and municipality monitors shows the poor governance that was made by President Shpend Ahmeti during 2019.
Vetevendosje Movement amblist in the municipality of Pristina, Eman Candman, says that no progress has been made in Pristina this year, and that even 2019, chairman Ahmeti has forwarded the sloth to work.
“Like this year and this year Chairman Shpend Ahmeti characterises the laziness and non-work throughout the year. Here they best explain all the official reports that are from the Pristina municipality. Based on those reports, it appears in one of Kosovo's worst municipalities, at least implementing the budget for capital investments. Unfortunately, late 2019, Pristina found it in the same situation last year. There is no capital investment that could be mentioned or that would give Pristina any appearance. There is no progress, and all the promises that were made in 2017, there are only promises left and no realisations”, he says.
Critics face chairman Ahmeti is also the LDK's Asamblist in Pristina municipality, Agim Gashi, who lists all projects where Mayor Ahmeti has had to invest.
“Pristine lacks projects, very important and very large. As it is in some of seven schools, school objects, collectors at Matt 1 and 2, and into Zolar. Then the sewers, the collector behind the Court of Justice and many other jobs that are necessary and necessary for the citizens of Pristina ... the other character that has forwarded this year is the unwillingness of the municipal government and the president for non-co-operation with the country”, he says.
And the researcher in the organization INPO monitoring the municipality of Pristina, Arifi said this year for Pristina municipal governance has been nothing different compared to the previous years, as there has been a lot of impasse.
This year for Pristina municipal governance has been nothing different than the previous years. Whether in terms of work in all respects. We don't have any work that made us distinguish this year and say there are significant progress in terms of local governance”, he says.
For all these criticisms, but also the successes he claims have conveyed this year, Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has refused to speak.
