As a result of the explosion of the main pipe that provided the southern city of Peja with drinking water, about 10,000 consumers have been left without supplies by today's 05 o'clock in the morning, has announced through a KRU communique in Pec.
The explosion of the pipe in question has occurred in Chammeria district, with the CRU specialists dead, around 05 minutes in the morning, to receive information from the alert centre and respond to the scene and start the damage sancing work.
According to our field specialists, the age of the tube is thought to be the cause of this problem”, the communique says.
Based on the specifics of decay and terrain, water supply is expected to last until about this evening.
Out of this damage, the Territorial Communitys of the Czech Congregation have remained, Jarina and Jemajl Kada.
