Through a post in his Facebook account, Berisha has written that he is retired from the race for MPs voluntarily after failing to submit to pressures, writes Insander newspaper.
“After a democratic process I have gained convincingly at the Drenas branch. I have willingly withdrawn without any pressure from anyone, because I never submit to the pressures that come from which I come. I've seen fit to give any candidate who he is to race him. My arrival in VV has not intended me to line up for a position for personal interests. I have attached the VV to you for the sake of Kosovo youth who are leaving the country because he has been killed hope of living at home”, Berisha wrote.
Berisha has been commander of the KLA Special General Staff Unit, Dean of the Education Faculty, as well as general consul in Germany.
Former commander “Tiger” has joined the Vetevendosje Movement last year, until the VV had expressed enthusiasm for Berisha's work at the VV.
