Sentenced to Life in Prison the One Killed Eight Relatives in Vlora

Ritvan Zykaj killed eight of his relatives, only because they accused him of stealing the chickens. The event took place on August 10th, 2018.

Massacre in Selice

24-year-old Ridvan Zykaj left the lunch with his family and turned to relatives' quarters, where he mercilessly fired on elders and children, performing the unprecedented massacre. Zykaj, after taking a tinnikov in his hand, has gone towards the cousin's quarters.

First he entered the courtyard of Besim Zykat's apartment while finding the family head there and then set fire to him. He has first killed Faith and his wife, Vasilica.

The bloody hand of the 24-year-old has also shot at the daughter of Besimi, Sarah, 17, who stayed a little farther away from her parents and her minor brother, Ledjon, only 6.

After he wiped out his first family, Ridvan walked toward Demiri's apartment, (his grandfather's brother) while he killed him while he was standing on the couch on the balcony of his house, and then shot him toward his wife, leaving him dead in the country.

In the meantime, Demiri's son, Azem, after hearing gunshots, has come out in shock with his wife to see what was going on and to his father's house, but they've both been killed in a hail of bullets on the street.
