Sea level has increased alarmingly over the same period, while the carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) have reached record numbers, writes the BBC, translates Periscopi.
The OBM says that efforts to cut carbon in the atmosphere should intensify immediately.
The most disturbing of all is the data on rising sea level.
The average growth per year from 1993 was 3.2 mm. However, from May 2014 until now we've had an increase of five millimeters.
We have seen “Sic this year with the tragic effects on Bahame and Mozambique, sea growth levels and powerful tropical storms have led to humanitarian and economic disasters.” It says further on the report. /Periscope
