Post voting period begins today

Voting via mail for Kosovo citizens living in different countries will begin today and end on 4 October.
That decision was made yesterday by the Central Election Commission.
The Central Election Commission yesterday held the meeting, where the report regarding the voting period abroad was presented, which began September 30th and was closed on September 10th.
During this period the Central Election Commission has accepted 40 thousand and 313 registration applications and from them:
5000 327 applications have been accepted through mail;
So 319 applications were accepted through fax, and
A total of 34 thousand and 667 apps have been accepted through e-mail address to the voting service.
Of the 40 thousand and 313 registration applications that have been accepted and prosecuted, 35 thousand and 87 apps have been approved, while 5 thousand and 226 apps have been rejected due to the failure of the criteria defined by law.
At this meeting, the Central Election Commission announced that the vote through the Post will begin on Thursday, September 19th, and will end on October 4th.
Also, the Central Election Commission decided on approval of the design and contents of the ballot for early elections for the Kosovo Republic Assembly, which will be held on 6 October 2019.
