Hong Kong police have distributed tear gas protesters who were marching Saturday in constant protests for months.
Many shops were shut down because of violence, and police arrested several people.
Radical contractors have caused numerous damage, as well as traffic jams, protesters have also thrown gas canisters which are too dangerous for citizens' lives”, police reports.
Days earlier, Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam said Tuesday that she and her team will start dialogue with citizens, while repeating that the violence that has ravaged the city during the three months of protests must end.
Hong Kong Society has raised many deep economic, social and even political issues. I hope these different forms of dialogue can provide a platform to discuss”, Lam told reporters at a news conference.
Hong Kong, a former British Colonel, is involved in protests that have often been violent.
The cause of the riot was an extradition bill that allowed people to be tried by Hong Kong in China's territory.
Authorities withdrew the bill, but the protesters' demands expanded, calling for an independent investigation into excessive police violence.
