Novoberda fortress threatened by Serbian company's work, Association of Historians reacts

The League of Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri” the Decan branch has reacted to the damage caused at the Novoberda Fortress and about allowing the Serbian company to perform works on this state wealth.

“... with great concern has conveyed the situation about the damage caused in the Novoberda Fortress. The Novoberda fortress is an important site of the history and cultural heritage of Kosovo Albanians. The state of Kosovo, or the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as other organs dealing with the protection of cultural heritage in Kosovo, are the main culprits I have allowed a Serbian company to perform works on this wealth of our state”, it says in their response.

LHK “Ali Hadri” The Decan branch urgently requires that our state take the situation in its hands, in very serious terms, be threatened by the Novoberda Fortress and the weight and damage will fall on Kosovo state authorities.
