Acting Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Kossnet discovered this plaque on which the Kosovo Government logo was inscribed and the words “Kosovo Redmers” and “Kosovova remembers” as well as the dates 11 September 2011.
In his address, Haradinaj said that 18 years ago, even Kosovo experienced a serious attack on America's friendly people.
Kosovo remembers every year the fall of this day and we co-operate with America, and this day we will turn it into tradition every September 11th of every year. Before we start the job, we will honor those who fell into the 11 September attacks because we consider them ours because America is a guarantee of global security”, Haradinaj said.
Following the discovery of Haradinaj and Kossnet's memorial plaque, as well as other personalities who attended the ceremony were homazhe.
Otherwise, some 3 thousand victims lost their lives in the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
