Conference delegates approved a motion saying such commitment should be included in the manifestation of the upcoming general elections.
The motion added that universities would limit the same proportion of students from private schools as the vast population, eventually 7 percent.

Holly Riggby, a campaign organiser and teachers at state school, said: “this is a very positive moment for the Laborist party because it is the most powerful commitment the party has made to deal with the problem of private schools has been a very long time. This is a big victory for the left. ” she said, writes The Guardian, conveys Periscopi in Albanian.
