Haradinaj says visa liberalisation expected to happen at Christmas

He said Kosovo has carried out its duties, and that it is the promise of the EU, for this news to come at Christmas.

My government has had many important processes. A year ago, the EU Parliament has given some conditions Kosovo has long carried out. The Netherlands and France have skepticism. So the good news is a good option for visa liberalisation to happen at Christmas”, he said.

And for dialogue, Haradinaj said the process has been removed from the president's hand.

I didn't give the dialogue to the president, but I took it out of hand. We have removed it from closed-door dialogue with dangers of partitioning Kosovo. So we turned it into a dialogue.

The one elected to the government must maintain relations between the parties and find consensus in parliament, because we are a parliamentary state. In October, Serbia now maintains, says it removes the tax. Nobody asks us how the tax came, so the EU let him say you voted Kosovo in Interpool then they come and talk to us”, he said.

Outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has also talked about the rights of the LGBT community. He said that for every community including LGBT, he has respect.

I think every individual should enjoy their rights. So you shouldn't have others judge what to choose. You know we're a centrist party and we're for family but not against these communities. So I respect”, Haradinaj said.

Those comments Haradinaj made at the “debate Open” organised by the Fol Movement.
