The law banning the games of fate, which was passed in March this year in the Kosovo Assembly, has been submitted to the Constitutional Court.
News.net teaches that the Association of Game Companies has sent this Law to the Constitutional Court.
In a written response to news.net, the Constitutional Court says they have accepted a request from a private company that disputes the law for the games of fate on August 28th of this year.
Still, it is not known when the decision will be made.
The court has accepted a request from a private company that disputes the Law for Game of Fate on August 28, 2019. The court has no decision- schedule in this case. The decision will be made in accordance with the Kosovo Constitution, the Law for the Constitutional Court and the regulation of the work of court”, said in the Constitutional response.
The Fate Games Association had also asked the president not to decree this law, arguing that about 4 thousand people would be left without jobs after the end of the game of fate.
The Law to Ban Lucky Games in Kosovo, which prohibits the functioning of fortune-game businesses for 10 years, has entered into force in May of this year.
This law was proposed by the Government of Kosovo, while adopted at an extraordinary session of the Kosovo Assembly on March 28th of this year.
The decision to close the game of fate has been taken, as in two casinos in different Kosovo cities, two people were killed.
Kosovo police, supported by Kosovo Customs and other institutions, have shut down all the lucky playgrounds in Kosovo and confiscated many devices that have served the event.
