So many exiles have registered for October 6th elections

The number of registered exiles to date at the KKZ shows a considerable interest in their participation in the October 6th vote via mail.

Despite long procedures, over 8,500 exiles have registered to vote, the CEC shows.

The deadline for registered exiles to vote is open until September 10th.

To get a vote, Kosovars living abroad must initially register.

For this reason, the CEC has given a deadline until voters from the diaspora can do so.

This is because the Law for Elections adopted in 2008 does not allow that.

According to this institution in past elections about 5,000 exiles have voted.

And in Vetevendosje Movement, they say this number of voters has been few because of the complex way of voting.

Meanwhile, another subject that concerns the problem is the Euro-Atlantic Party of Kosovo. They say voters are being stopped by this law.

On the other side of the Diaspora Ministry, the dictator who has something to do with this category indicates that they are not involved in this process.

According to them, all duties are in the hands of the Central Election Commission.
