Wife, half of society
Although general developments that have marked Kosovo society over the past two decades, the woman in our country still faces essential problems. The lack of necessary security that the state should offer, but our society, some of the women of Isu, has cost life.
While the level of inequality in terms of the involvement of men and women in the labour market continues to be the highest in Kosovo, compared to the countries of the region. Only about 12% of Kosovo women are considered to have a job. But even those who have jobs face different challenges. A wife is a pillar of family and association, and she should not be isolated or treated unjustly. My plan to cheer and connect diaspora investments with Kosovo's work show would support rural women, to create their own self-employment, by being oriented into crafts, traditional foods, and others. Also, during my mandate as MP I will strongly lobby to the country's institutions for the more women to support in new businesses. I will also give the woman's right to inheritance a powerful push. We know that in our society, despite the woman's high contribution in all areas of life, she has not been treated fairly in the division of family heritage. Now, this has to change. The righteous treatment of a wife when it comes to the separation of family inheritance helps her in her independence and therefore a life easier for her.
Independent women look even better in our families and friends.
