This is Melbourne! More than 100,000 people have been gathered! #Climatetrike #Grens”, Greens MP Adam Bandt, who represents Melbourne's place in the Federal Parliament, said in a tweet.
The Klima Global Strike is the third in a series of climate gatherings organised by school students, and led by 16-year-old Greta Thurberg.
But it is not only young people participating this month who are working and humanitarian groups, environmental organisations and employees of some of the biggest brands in the world also decided to participate.
