MA Augusti drags on competition for new textbooks

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) has not announced the competition for new classroom textbooks 3,4.5, 8, 9 and 12, though it has been the first to happen in August. The Education Ministry had warned that for classes 3,4.5, 8, 9 and 12, new textbooks will be available next year. Students in these classes are learning from texts that are old and out of harmony with the new curriculum, and they are likely to learn with those content next year.
New texts have only been published for classes 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 11. To deliver manuscripts, August had announced the competition last August.
The newspaper's sources, at the Ministry of Education, have said that if the competition is not announced even this month it could lead to complications of procedures and the publication of new texts for the coming year. This is because there are certain phases of the assessment, and so should selecting the reactors.
