The number of asylum Albanians knocking on Europe's doors has increased during July, the latest reports of the European Union's asylum office show.

These data speak of 1995 demand for asylum in total by Albanian citizens during July, up from 1787 last month. This means that growth is estimated at 11.6% in monthly terms.

July is the only month after February, where growth is recorded. However, data shows that in the bow of the past 12 months, compared to the previous 12 months, the tendency to apply for asylum among Albanians has increased significantly.

Albania is thus in 10th place on the list of asylum countries, even though it is classified as a secure orgy country. Thus, during July, negative answers to asylum status are fixed to 1471, while only 53 persons have managed to obtain refugee status.

Although, the accession rate is too small, something like that does not prohibit the approximately 2,000 Albanians each month, who experience fate. There are 11973 Albanians waiting for Europe's doors in special camps for a response to their demand for asylum.

The issue of asylum seekers has become a major problem for Albania, as it turns out to be an obstacle to the country's European integration, with France and Holland warning of veto.
