Today through two charters from France and Germany, under the joint European flight organised by France, Belgium and Germany in co-operation with FRONTEX, as well as with the support of the Albanian escort, 104 Albanian citizens were repatriated from France, Belgium and 84 from Germany.
The repatriation operations will follow in the coming weeks and in this context, Albania's State Police once again appeal all Albanian citizens travelling towards the EU, to respect the rules of movement in the Schengen space, as well as not to try to seek asylum, as the chances of winning it are zero.
At border crossing points, Border Police will continue to apply additional measures taken for the prevention of asylum-search, continuing with rigorous controls in terms of verifying documentation and meeting conditions to travel to EU countries, as well as stricter control of the green border.
