Wessel has said through a Facebook status that nepotism is not only damaging Kosovo but also relations with Western allies.

His full reaction:

The resignation of our American and British friends from the Kosovo Board of Comparison and Verification of Property is bad news for Kosovo and we must all be alarmed. Freedom, independence and Kosovo's statehood processes have only been achieved thanks to the inadequate support of allies, and also, only with their help can we face the challenges ahead.

Nepotism is not only damaging our country and forcing young people to leave the country but also seriously affecting vital relations with our closest allies. This event is clear evidence that fighting nepotism and corruption is a must, so I have begun this war with great determination and will go to the end. To build a better future for Kosovo, we have to fight relatively corruption.
