In a statement via account on Oxfam's social Facebook network, a British-based NGO says that “since August 9th 2018, 335 children have lost their lives due to air attacks, mines and random attacks”.

The statement that mentions the expressions of Muhsin Siddiki, the director of Oxfam for Yemen, says that a child was killed almost every day in the last year.

Siddiki, has noted that in addition to hunger and disease in Yemen, even violent events continue to threaten the lives of civilians, where and for preventing further loss of lives it is necessary to ensure an emergency ceasefire across the country.

- Inner war and humanitarian crisis in Yemen

In Yemen where political instability prevails for a long time, conflicts are experienced between Iran-backed Houthi forces and government forces.

Since September 2014, Howth has control of the capital, Sana, and several regions of Yemen. The coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia, since March 2015, give air support to the Yemenian government in the fight against the Hobbits.

Because of the war that has been going on for about five years in Yemen, thousands of lives have been lost. In Yemen, which is one of the poorest countries in the world, the humanitarian crisis that grows because of civil war has reached terrible proportions.
