The Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement will continue the coming days of discussions concerning the possibility of reaching a pre-election coalition.
LDK's first deputy chairman, Lutfi Haziri, after gathering this party, said Vjosa Osmani has unanimously received support for Kosovo prime minister today.
According to him, no one better than Osman can function democracy in Kosovo.
The LDK's nominated for Kosovo Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani, while all thanks for the support, said the LDK General Council has unanimously decided not to enter a coalition with the PDK either before the elections, but not after holding them on 6 October.
While determined that the prime minister's position to meet with the LDK, Osmani said the focus for a co-governance is on the Vetevendosje Movement and that in the coming days the discussions will continue jointly.
“Vetevendosje must join the LDK in building a new era of major changes, which will be historic and that will remove the state from crime and corruption”, she said.
Regarding Jhelal Sfechla's statements, which has called the LDK's insidious, Vjosa Osmani said such statements show that the VV has not had genuine co-operation and hopes those thoughts will not be of its leadership as well.
Otherwise, Vetevendosje Movement chairmanship member Xhelal Svecla accused the LDK of not being honest about his party's transparent demands regarding the pre-election coalition.
He even called the decision uncoordinated and insidious that of the LDK to issue a candidate for prime minister, and according to him, it showed that they do not want a pre-election coalition.
This LDK behaviour has been going on for a year, with reluctance and incompatible in the face of the VV's transparent and public demands for co-operation. And it's this very subtle LDK subject that has reduced the 10% less in the polls within a year, while raising the VV with the same margin. Now, we still hope that at least they keep their word to go to the elections alone. The people have made a decision to change, Vetevendosje leads, Albin is the most voted and most supported politician”, writes Svecla on Facebook.
