Former soldier of KLA, Tomor Morina, has returned to Kosovo, as it is now set up for its release from custody in northern Macedonia.
His lawyer Naser Raufi confirmed this in a Facebook post.
Morina's release has confirmed during the day even Kosovo's ambassador to northern Macedonia, Gjergj Dedaj, through a Facebook post.
Tomor Morina, right triumphs. Tomor Morina, ex-soldier of The KLA, has been released today from prison, where it was being held after the ban at Elez's Blace Khan border, by northern Macedonian police on the basis of an INTERPOL warrant. We thank the official Skopje institutions, the Shutka prison directorate, for co-operating with the institutions and embassy of the Republic of Kosovo, for the release of Tomor Morina”, Dedaj has written.
The North Macedonian Supreme Court has confirmed the Criminal Council's decision to organised crime and corruption to the Skopje Criminal Court that conditions for extradition of Morina have not been met in Serbia.
Tomor Morina was arrested by Macedonian police on July 24th, under an Interpol warrant issued on Serbia's request.
