The Texas assailant says: My target was immigrants from Mexico

Patrick Cyrus, 21, is being charged with mass murder because he opened fire with his AK-47 gun.

Washintgon Post has managed to secure his confession before the police, where, among other things, he said his target was Mexicans. He was taken into custody about a mile from the scene and immediately told police “I fired” showed a police official.

Just 20 minutes before the attack, Crusiu had posted a writing on the internet featuring his racist ideas and showing that this attack is against “the Mexicans' invasion”.

Authorities believe Cyrus is a racist who has had extreme ideas against immigration.

The attacker lives near Dallas, traveling about six miles [10 km] to El Paso, Texas, especially to kill people.

Numerous marches have been held in the US to commemorate the victims, while a widespread debate in politics has been opened about gun control. Protests have also occurred in Mexico, which have called it a terrorist act against them.
