Tahiri: Correcting centers in the last two years have prevented negative phenomena within them

Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has met today with Kosovo's Director General of Correcting Service, Nehat Thaci and the directors of the Kosovo Correcting Centres. The corrective system has marked an enormous advantage over the past two years. With continued commitment and commitment, we have been able to transform the perception and image of the Correcting Centers. We've improved infrastructure and increased capacity. Security has increased as well as fighting and preventing negative phenomena within them” has said Minister Tahiri.
In addition to the correctional function, Minister Tahiri has stressed that the centres also have resociating function, which was achieved thanks to the worker's engagement on a daily basis.
“Today, the Correcting Centers meet all contemporary standards, and the same as corrective positions have full resizable function. This whole progress could not be made without the responsibilities and officers of this service, which on a daily basis manage with these” Centres, the minister Tahiri has said.
During the meeting, Minister Tahiri and the leaders of the correct institutions share the prospect of reforming further and steps being taken to advance the Correcting Service in all its dimensions.
