Sejdiu: I'd like to be a candidate for an MP on the VV) LDK list.

Kosovo is at a political crossroads following Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation. And a signal for the dissolution of the Assembly has come from Kadri Wessel, who has called the Headship of the Parliament on this very issue. An independent MP in the Kosovo Assembly is thinking it is only a combination of parties that can pull the country out of the current situation.
Korab Sejdiu, who acts as an independent in the Kosovo Assembly, tells of Economy Online that a government led by LDK and LVV will pull the country out of crisis.
He even says he is working with both subjects to achieve a pre-election coalition.
“I believe that the best formula that gives the country hope and which is likely to pull out of the crisis is exactly what I've even pushed as an idea with a coalition according to my pre-election preference between LDK and Vetevendosje, which will then form a powerful government with a strong majority of Albanians in the Assembly, there are no exceptions to the other opposition deputies, he says.
However, MP Sejdiu says achieving such a coalition is difficult to implement, but not impossible.
“I believe it's not easy to form a coalition and it's always difficult, especially between the two parties if they're in the big ones. But if the LDK and Vetevendosje set the country's future as their top priority, then of course it will be much easier to join forces and focus on that very point. The circumstances which are currently created require that we not focus on our political, party priorities but simply set Kosovo as the only priority and the future of Kosovo “, he says.
The MP who in past elections was part of the LDK's list through AKR says he prefers that in the new elections be part of a joint list with LDK and VV.
“The current legislative scheme almost made running as a person an independent candidate impossible. Of course, if he chose to continue, then we should be included in a list of subjects or coalitions. My preference is to be part of a joint list between LDK and Vetevendosje, which I hope and we're working hard to make this”, he says.
Sejdiu in this interview for EO has also commented on Prime Minister Haradinaj's resignation.
He considers it foolish, and for personal gain, while at the expense of the country.
It's his typical language that speaks without thinking, without analyzing the case. We've seen this for two years during his rule that did things like this. This has been an act for his personal good, without thinking. He has simply not acted as head of government, as leader of one of the most important institutions in the country”, he says.
MP Sejdiu, who is a lawyer by profession, has also commented on the surrender of Haradinaj's request to the Constitutional Court for interpretation of his act of resignation from the prime minister's office.
Even this action, Sejdiu is considering unnecessary.
There's no need to explain either the Constitutional Court or any other court, but this is the disaster we're in. We have completely irresponsible people who, in various ways, have come to decision-making positions, whether the president or the prime minister, or the prime minister, and it's our responsibility to work extremely hard to get these people out of decision-making positions” has ended Sejdiu.
