Party employment, cooling relations with the European Union (BE) and the United States of America (SHBA), postponing visa liberalisation, blocking dialogue with Serbia, are just some of the collapses and scandals of the coalition-led Kosovo Government PAN, led by Ramush Haradinaj.
Awareers of political issues in the country estimate that, in addition to being the most short-lived government since declaring independence, the Haradinaj government will be remembered for its scandals.
Visar Jamaica from the Democracy Institute for Development (D4D), counting the government's impasses on the run, has said this government suffered at the height of scandals.
“like any other government, so the Hardinaj Government was coincided with numerous scandals. The outgoing prime minister continued the same with party employment, nepotism and persistent corruption. The number of deputy ministers increased dramatically, exceeding 80. Although he was a fierce opponent against demarcation of the border with Montenegro, as soon as he gained power, demarcation of the Kosovo-Montenegro border was one of the first decisions approved. Scandals went on to double his salary by rationalising him with the need for new clothes and ties”, Jamaica said.
According to him, Haradinaj did not take responsibility even when Turkish citizens from Kosovo were arbitrarily infiltrated, claiming he was unaware of that.
The mosque also counted some of the government's outgoing scandals.
“Scandals culminated in Kosovo's failure to join Interpol, after which the tariff followed -- initially 10%, then 100% -- for Serbian and Bosniak products, in an attempt to cover up Interpol's failure. Kosovo failed to make the long-awaited decision on visa liberalisation either. After setting the fee ( 100% tranche)”, it is expressed.
Jamaica, speaking of the tax committed to Serbian and Bosnian products, stated that the Kosovo Government's non-technical behaviour in charge of Haradinaj damaged reports with the EU and therefore slowed further steps towards a possible final agreement with Serbia.
Since setting the trade fee for Serbian and Bosniak products, Kosovo's relations with its friendly states declined. Despite the US and EU countries' request for its removal, Haradinaj insisted on keeping the fee. On the other hand, the Serbian side refused to participate in Brussels negotiations without the removal of the fee. The ban on talks compromises Kosovo's future towards European integration because for Kosovo it is vital to preserve good reports with EU and US states”, Jamaica stressed.
According to him, the government's undiplomatic behaviour damaged these reports and therefore slowed further steps towards a possible final agreement with Serbia.
Even the other political connoisseur, Albinot Maloku, claims that this government will be remembered for numerous setbacks.
As a consequence of this government's actions, he says the new government expects numerous challenges.
The ruling “coalition consisting of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Social Democrat Initiative, and several other parties, under the direction of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, will surely be remembered for many setbacks. During this government, the Republic and Kosovo at the diplomatic level suffered many losses, given the withdrawal of recognitions, failure to succeed with membership in U. INTERPOL NESTO, as well as zero recognition of the state of Kosovo”, Maloku says.
According to him, there was no shortage of international isolation that happened to the country, reports Arbres.info.
On the economic level, Maloku says there has been no realisation of the needs of citizens, but only significant development of political and family nepotism in all sectors.
The new government's “Sfide inherited from the past will be only mentioned, the tax justly imposed by the Haradinaj Government on Serbia's products, but the primary interest will be the country's economic development. Recognitions, Kosovo state membership are another necessary need.”, Maloku claims.
No words of arier can be said of the outgoing government, according to political analyst Blerim Burjani.
According to him, the visa liberalisation barrier became inevitable, all after the government PAN imposed tax on Serbian products contrary to CEFTA, which was now neglected by the government and reduced as the EU and US demand.
“PAN, there's been a lot of jam and deformities. As was employing people without merit and appointing people without having responded to the embassies in Kosovo. The biggest strains have been made in the process of visa liberalisation, which has greatly depressed citizens of the state. Kosovo was blamed because of halting dialogue with Serbia, 10 decisions of this government were illegal”, Burjan said.
He also mentioned meeting the ruling coalition twice PAN with the Constitutional Court.
The outgoing prime minister's political vocabulary, Ramush Haradinaj, has prompted numerous scandals. The biggest scandal was the founding of 21 ministries without any reason. No decisions were made that facilitate the state economy”, he has said.
Meanwhile, the only achievements of this government, according to him, are the transformation of the KSF into the Army and the passage of Pristina law.
“Even though the transformation of the KSF still remains the questionable decision, because what it might be like to have the KSF become an army without changing its name or how the KSF can become an army without changing the Constitution. The other scandal was that I extremely discriminate against the private sector, and direct people to work for the state, and the state is not an employer in the market economy”, he said.
This government, according to him, was the most unaware and the worst in the weary history as he and the poor of Kosovo.
Kosovo's “became capital damage for two years of PAN government. The state turned into plunder and extortion. Unfortunately, no word from hare can be said to rule PAN”, Buryan stressed.
And the most ridiculous of this government, he said, was when the prime minister resigned with a rationale for an interview with the Special Court that had nothing to do with him.
