During the meeting of SBASK Chairman Beftman Jasharaj with the central chairmanship and heads of Ministers of Education Started and Midwest from all municipalities in Kosovo, it was also warned that if after that the mayor Kastrati does not give up, then the general strike will start indefinitely.
“Solidarity and their support for this act of Kosovo educational workers will witness a one-hour strike throughout the education system. If even after that there is no withdrawal of the Kastrat-based school closure decision, then the SBASK Steering Council will meet to make decisions regarding other union actions throughout Kosovo”, the communiqué says.
The SBASK requires that the start of a new school year in Kamenica start without problems, and that teachers and students start educational work each at their school and that there are no closed schools.
By contrast, the SBASK is seeking to respond to the idea of President Kastrati and the issue of reducing the number of students being discussed after the formation of central institutions in the 6 October elections.
