Kamenica Community Chairman Central Kastrati has met with Beftman Jashari the chairman of the United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture of Kosovo and several other members of the union today.
According to the SBASK, they have been discussing Kastrat's decision to close several schools in this municipality.
“They have reiterated that representing the voice of the education workers of Kamenica and other municipalities and attaching to the opposition of most parents from this municipality are against closing schools there and have asked Mayor Kastrati to draw this idea so that the school year even in Kamenica began without problems”.
“On the contrary, it has been suggested that it will face union reactions, either with the strike at all schools in this municipality and with the solidarity of education workers from all over Kosovo”, the SBASK say.
At this meeting Kastrati claimed that his idea was not debated in either a session with the Communists, considering that there is no need for that.
