On the basis of activities organised in prisons, supported by nongovernmental organisation “Help Kosovo”, inmates of the High Security Prison, have begun producing wooden beds.
BSL inmates, in addition to having numerous sports events, develop other activities that express talent in their work and occupations that they possess.
In reporting to the media by the Correcting Service, it is said that through this project it is intended to be influenced by the rehabilitation and re-socialisation of imprisoned persons.
The project's “objective is to build capacity of vulnerable groups in the economic and social sphere so that you can create opportunities for active participation in society. This improves the prisoner's chances of living after his release. In addition, work normalizes daily life in prison. Each work conducted by prisoners at the USKK workers is mainly used for the needs of correctional and detention centres. Some of these are also donated”, says the report.
