Education issue acquaintance Halim Hyseni has cited international reports that point to higher crime rates in countries where there is no involvement of children in the pre-school system, meaning nests, gardens and the primary level of education.
The involvement of children in this system in Kosovo is estimated to be the lowest in the region and Europe.
In an interview for “Kahen Ditore”, Hyseni has criticised the current governments which, according to him, have not been interested in investing in this level of schooling.
KD: How do you assess the work of pre-school education in Kosovo?
Hyseni: This level is part of the level of education and education, which is in a very low state. Unfortunately, it's the most underdeveloped level, even though it's the most important level, because pre-school education represents the foundation of the education system and education. If the foundation of education is not right, then even the education system cannot be good. There is no efficient and effective system of education of a society without an efficient level of pre-school education system. Including these children in education and care is very important. Pre-school education is a necessary condition that makes Kosovo's advance and education.
