MPJ: Kosovo equals other states at Helsinki summit

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli is representing Kosovo at the important meeting marking the start of Finnish EU presidency simultaneously.
Yesterday he started in Helsinki, Finland, the informal meeting of the 28 foreign ministers of the European Union, the directors of the Commission, with their Western Balkan counterparts.
According to the MPJ, the event was launched with a welcome by the foreign affairs and enlargement commissioners, where the diplomatic chiefs of these countries participated, waiting that was a good chance for a informal exchange of views among them.
Kosovo is represented by Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, invited by the Commission's top chairman, in his quality as chief of Kosovo diplomacy. Kosovo participates as equal to all other states in the region. Minister Pacolli will deliver a speech addressing Kosovo's vision of regional co-operation, Serbia's instructions in dialogue and in economic exchanges in the region, and Kosovo's call to end its international isolation through visa liberalisation, etc. Today during the day, the meeting follows with a joint closed-door forum of Western Balkan diplomatic chiefs with its 28 Union counterparts, with bilateral meetings, communication with numerous media across the continent, etc”, said in the communique.
The event in question coincides with the staff of leading European Union institutions to the new leader and the beginning of the Finnish presidency.
