For a few months, over 2,500 citizens give up Kosovo's citizenship

Even last year there was a large number of them who gave up Kosovo's citizenship.

According to the Indescline Ministry of Internal Affairs data, for only seven months, 2 thousand and 569 citizens have applied for the removal of citizenship.

Last year, however, 5 thousand and 481 people gave up Kosovo's citizenship.

In addition, there are foreigners who are interested in being equipped with Kosovo citizenship.

According to these statistics, between January 1st and July 31st, 305 people have sought to be equipped with Kosovo citizenship.

And last year, 638 people, who come mainly from neighbouring states.

While, the overwhelming part of those seeking to give up Kosovars' citizenship is from Germany, but there are also Austria and Slovenia.
