Isa Mustafa, with a perfect scenario, is able to defeat Ibrahim Rugova's traditional LDK, to keep it completely in his hands and then share power with his clan.
When Lutfi Haziri and Agim Veliu openly demonstrated their ambitions for LDK chairman Mustafa skillfully eliminated them from the race at the last moment, with the argument that the party needs a consensual candidate.
Just a week before LDK's own chairman was elected, Isa Mustafa had claimed before several members of headship that he did not intend to run, while in secret they had launched a lobby for themselves to delegates who would vote.
It was his first knife for Lutfi Haziri and Agim Veliun, after what he had drawn for his chief, Fatmir Sejdiu in 2010.
But, Mustafa seems to have prepared another knife for Lutfi Haziri. This time, to betray an agreement that is thought to have been made among them for the LDK nominated for prime minister in early elections to be held in a month.
Now, Mustafa reportedly wants to nominated Vjosa Osmani, even though he is aware that this step can seriously divide the party.
Sources of the news say that Lutfi Haziri and Agim Veliu have experienced Mustafa's treachery severely. That, they showed with the boycott they made to the LDK leadership meeting on Saturday.
The actions of Isa Mustafa appear to be a powerful blow to the generation that began its political career with Ibrahim Rugova, its historic leader in whose political philosophy is always called the LDK.
But is he risking to divide the LDK strongly, eliminating the Romanians?
This will be seen Monday, when the next meeting of the LDK's Headship is expected to take place, to decide who will be their nominated for prime minister, and whether this party will go to the pre-election coalition with Vetevendosje.
