After verification, Romanian police confirmed that the people in question are three men from Kosovo, aged between 17 and 31. Young people said they were trying to cross the border from Serbia to Romania on foot, through the forest area, to reach one of the states of Western Europe. All three were barred from entering the Schengen area.
