International Geology Day

Geology is the science that studies Earth in a comprehensive way. She tries to explain how the Earth was formed and how it changes.

This science finds its application in the study of solid minerals, oil, building materials, and underground water resources.

Albanian and foreign geologists in Albania have so far discovered 15 oil supplies, 6 gas sites, 7 bitumen sites and over 500 mineral sites.
