The regular judicial process in the “Venterians” case will not be able to begin until the Supreme Court clears the issue of competencies between Pristina Foundation Court departments.
After confirming the indictment several days ago at the Court of Appeals, the first instance is now ahead of the dilemma which the department must continue to examine. Since the Special Department has established the Appeals in this case, the court does not understand whether the Department of the Randa Crimes (where it has been examined so far) or the Special Department today “Koha Ditore”.
For this reason, as said to <x0 Ditore”, the court has made the decision that the following days to address the Supreme for clarification of competencies.
On November 23rd of last year, Kosovo's Assembly has adopted the Law on Courts, along with several other laws concerning rule of law.
