Haradinaj in an interview for Economy Online criticised the QUINT countries, which according to him, are putting constant pressure on Kosovo, but not on Serbia as well. He says that if such pressure continues, there will be destabilisation of the Balkans.
The “QUINT countries are respected, and are allies of Kosovo and are interested in good relations with Serbia. But they must realize that there is no space, nor to pressure Kosovo anymore, because with this pressure, they forced Government to resign, with strange measures, and what else. If they want to destabilise Kosovo, or return to the Balkans, they can do it. But nobody wins, neither Kosovo, nor the region, nor the International Community. They've reached that end, if they want to kill us, but under pressure they can't convince us anymore. The QUINT has to return pressure on Serbia, which has unprincipledly imposed conditions just to start dialogue is saying take off the tax. And what will it take then for recognition, if only to start dialogue requires the market”, he says.
Asked that if he still leads the country's government, would he respect international demands for tax removal, Haradinaj says he no longer accepts conditions and that such demands from anyone would be ignored and would not find support.
I'm not about to observe these QUINT requests. I'm telling you sorry, we're sovereign, we have our version of how we can deal with Serbia, if you respect it, we come to the table, if not we wait. It's not at all costs dialogue. I know what I have done to stop the partitioning of Kosovo”, he says.
Haradinaj is convinced that if all parliamentary parties are in one word and no “play” the pressure of international friends would be lifted.
But Haradinaj says convinced that besides him, all others, including Albin Kurtin, will agree to lift the tax without recognition from Serbia.
He even says that the PDK, the LDK and the VV at every meeting with internationals, <x0 behind closed doors”, have claimed that.
If we are unique, if all parliamentary parties have that attitude, Quinn understands us. They are not our enemies. The problem is we're not unique. We're giving different opinions and then I'm just standing by and holding on. The majority of Kosovo politicians, wanting to join the internationals in hopes that they help them come to power, say they are easy in dialogue. But these are causing consequences for the country. Even those who say in public that they have this attitude like me, on closed doors including Albin, and the LDK, for The PDK is known to say that we remove the tax and go back to dialogue. It's a mistake they do that. I don't think this helps them, not Kosovo. They must be clear, we return to unconditional dialogue. Very simple”, he says.
The first AAK says it will no longer make “constrat: with no political party for the prime minister's post.
He says that trust will only be required by citizens, otherwise he says he would accept service from the opposition alone, reports EO.
I don't decide who the Prime Minister will be. I will respect the people's decision if I have the opportunity to serve the country, I will serve as head of government. If I don't, I can do another job, or I can do nothing. I might even be in the opposition. In democracy it's legitimate. I don't know what to do. I have an offer for the citizen of the country. This offer is to lead with the country's government. I also presented this offer to the AAK and our coalition. I have their faith in principle, it's going to happen in the days to come, which I'm going to present to the citizen, if the citizen approves it, I'm taking it as a citizen contract. I don't accept contracts differently”, he says.
Outgoing prime minister says all local and international coalition AAK- PSD's out first.
It says the “major decisions on returning Kosovo's citizenship and empowering it have led to gaining citizens' support.
Even the decision on visa liberalisation according to him is not far off.
The truth is that in full of polls we've come out first, that the other political parties did, not that we did. International factors and relevant institutions dealing with measuring public opinion, now after joining the PSD, we mathematically lead in Kosovo. I believe it is important that the citizen of Kosovo is feeling more sovereign. You're no longer feeling yourself captive. From the first moment I went to the EU meeting at Mrs. Moghrin's meeting, I said I would not allow the partition of Kosovo, I would not approve a Mogher dialogue. It happened what I said, we removed dialogue from Mogher that was for division, we did it at Merkel in Berlin. We'll make the army, we've done it. We'll protect the territorial integrity, it's done. Liberalization is in progress, and we're not far away. The people are no longer loving serviles”, he says.
But Haradinaj acknowledges that his government also had shortcomings, citing the numerous ministries, but also the large number of deputy ministers.
He says there will be fewer ministries and deputy ministers in the next government.
This has never been good and I have never been praised. It was a measure of condition for government creation, a situation that was not easy, and I have been forced to go through certain situations. I respect the people I worked with, all parties and all communities, but it was kind of a situation like that. We have prepared a law for Government, but unfortunately it has not yet been approved. But I target a different government, not a government with 22 ministries and with so many deputy ministers. I target a government with mostly two deputy ministers for a ministry of”, he says.
Even as far as border correction is concerned with Montenegro, Haradinaj assures the country's citizens that the border will be in the gallows of Chuckorri and the Tower Qafe.
You don't believe Montenegro's leaders will create problems at this point, even saying that with this state, apart from demarcation, they have no open subject.
“There is a preliminary agreement with Montenegro's leadership. The working troops are, the State Commission is, which is headed by Bulqis, who is in charge of government in the near future when border demarcation begins, to respect the State Commission's findings for the border share with Montenegro. Because the vote obliges us to mark the border in line with the agreement that has been wrong and the State Commission report and the presidential declaration that have agreed on correction. So I don't think Kosovo needs to express any great triumphalism, because it's not an extraordinary victory, and it's not a loser in Montenegro. But rather with this mark of the border with Kosovo closed this topic and there is no open topic between Kosovo and Montenegro”, it concludes.
