A few hours remain, until the deadline for registering pre-election coalitions is completed.
Although there have long been meetings and talks between LDK and VV leaders, no coalition has yet been reached.
Hakki Abazi, who recently joined the Vetevendosje Movement, has told the newspaper “Bota today: there is readiness for coalition with the LDK, but the appointment of the LDK candidate without co-ordination has made it difficult for the candidate for prime minister.
“On the part of the VV Movement is full readiness for coalition with the LDK, and this is seen with full consistency and maximum trust. So it is now, and we are continuing with that attitude. The LDK candidate's definition without co-ordination has made it difficult to discuss the candidate for prime minister and, therefore, the priorities this ruling coalition must have”, it has indicated.
According to Abbas, the LDK has not been reformed and inside there are people who oppose the coalition with the VV.
“It is a disaster that LDK has not reformed and cleaned up in recent elections and certainly find it difficult to come up with the option that creates the coalition circumstances with LVV because there are individuals inside that have been opposed and continue to hold that position by making it very difficult to reach compromise that would allow the creation of a team that decapitates the state from the capture of group and clanial interests”, it has highlighted Abazi for <x2Bota today”.
He hopes the LDK will reflect and pass domestic issues and take responsibility, as citizens want such a coalition.
“Citizens want such a coalition and are in expectation, and I hope that the LDK will reflect and overcome internal issues not to create a blame-making situation elsewhere but assumes responsibility and shows political maturity before the country and citizens. LVV has bid for more than a year to LDK”, Haki Abazi has declared.
