The new recruits have sworn in Friday, at a ceremony organised at Kazerma dealtm Jasharı in Pristina.
This is the first generation of recruits joining the KSF after mandate with the new mission.
KSF Commander Lieutenant General Tman Rama has called on new members who contribute to the establishment and development of KSF with the new mandate, as Kosovo's army, Ksp reports.
I am happy that you are the ones who have testified that the KSF will have among its own best sons and girls in the country. You are expected to be disciplined and devoted. The KSF is a creditable and multiethnic force, willing to contribute in peace. The transition has begun according to the plan, based on the new mandate for protecting the country's sovereignty. I ask all members to work on the establishment and professional development in order for the transition to be successfully carried out”, Rama said.
Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha said there is no more honorable duty than serving the country. While he fortunately named the new members who belong to the first generation joining the KSF with the new military mandate.
This is a date of importance for your career and life, for FAK, State. There is no more honorable duty than to serve the country. You're lucky because you belong to the first generation you join KSF with the new military mandate. Today, you should be proud of your achievements and pledge that you will protect the peace, freedom of our state”, Berisha said.
