G7, the minister said, is the possible object of the key “threats”, starting with “idid individual violent who does not confuse them with peaceful protesters”.
He also referred to “terrorist threat” for which “an international summit may be a target”, though he noted that there was currently no particular “warning”.
Finally, he mentioned the <x0 cyber threat”, referring to possible cyber attacks.
Christophe Castaner insisted on “the extraordinary co-operation”, especially in the field of intelligence, with Spain, which will mobilise troops on its side of the border, without detailed its importance.
The minister cited the presence of 400 firefighters and 13 mobile emergency service teams.
Five people, some of them part of the <x0-mining “movement”, according to a source close to the investigation, were arrested Monday for calling on the social network to secure an accommodation site of” gendarmes. Those arrested were three women and two men. Four were released on Tuesday.
