Enver Hoxhaj returns to Krasniqi: The position of non-negotiable prime minister is closed topic

National Council of NISMA Social Democrat head Jakup Krasniqi has made a pre-election coalition bid to the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Krasniqi, claims that to reach co-operation agreements between NISMA and the PDK, it must meet some of their demands, starting with the prime minister's post, writes Periscopi.

Krasniqi had said: “Candidate for prime minister from this coalition should be a candidate (very competent and not so far) who is not head of political subjects (is preferred). Perhaps in such a situation, the candidate should be from NISMA Social Democrat, the candidate must possess political and institutional experience known to our public”, he concludes.

The deputy head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, says the prime minister's position is non-negotiable.

According to him, The PDK has proved itself in every process Kosovo has gone through and major topics are resolved when this government party with the country.

Our position is always clear for PDK. The prime minister's position is not negotiated in this governing mandate. There is complete determination here, in the last two mandates there are markets that really big themes can be solved when The PDK is larger and when we have a coalition with citizens. We will go to this election as the only political subject but who can join The PDK) before the election campaign begins is a matter that the party's chief and leadership make decisions.

On the other hand, Hoxhaj claims determined that this topic is closed.
