Democrats Urge Basha to Resign as DP Speaker

The movement against Lulzim Basha starts inside the Democratic Party. Edwin Kuluri, former member of the DP National Council, is one of the most critical of the democratic president's voices.

He urges Lulzim Basha to become a husband and leave the party's direction, which he says has led him from losing in defeat. Former member of the National Democrat Council says the official DP does not convince it is better than Rama's ruling gang. For Culul, there is only one guilty and he is the chief Democrat, who, according to him, is holding the party hostage so he must leave.

“The official DP has only been objecting to, criticised, denounced, and replicated the government for six years! The official DP does not convince that it is better than Rama's ruling gang does not create alternative and reliable teams. The Democrats got tired, labored in protests, boycotts, and folly of a man and his loyal circle by making only “opening after” and “asan one step ahead of”! Part of this movement except Kulur is expected to be exactly Basha's critical voices, starting with Jozefina Topalli, Arben Imam, Edith Harxhi, Ibsen Elez, Arben Ristani, and many others. Over the past few days, these voices have been highly critical of the Democrat leader, underlining that the problems in the DP have come precisely because of poor leadership.

They have blamed the latter for the setbacks suffered by the largest opposition party over the past few months, ranging from burning mandates to boycotting the June 30th elections, which was translated into the loss of right basses into local government. The DP has already remained behind representation at no level of power, since during the last few days the Socialist mayors have been introduced to municipalities which were earlier run by the DP.
