Kosovo police say it was informed this morning about a video recording that was presented to them by a citizen.
According to police, a citizen was spotted in this video, brutally hitting a child in the Ashkali community.
Kosovo's “Police following video recording has taken immediate measures to arrest the suspect. The case occurred on 1408.2019 at 2: 00 p.m. in Gurrakoc-Istog. After an intensive operational operation, today at 19.08.2019 around 09:23 Kosovo police- Istog Police Station has arrested the suspect: L.D. Born 1990 m/k. After interviewing by police investigators, the state prosecutor was informed, and on his order, the suspect was detained for 48 hours. The minor female victim had been sent for medical treatment, with her condition under the doctor after treatment, was stable”, says .
Police officers are staying in touch with the victim's family to support any need they may have.
