In this post, which had many spelling errors, the person claimed to have been accepted as an assistant in the Albanian Language and Literature branch.
Following the size this news received, the UP's Office for Academy Affairs confirms that the person in question is not engaged in any legal position at the University of Pristina.
According to them, the University of Pristina is currently in collective rest and, therefore, no decision has been made during this period concerning the involvement of academic staff within the UP.
Pristina's <x0-University, the Faculty of Philology, respectively, has no branches of Albanian Language and Literature, in which the person in question claims to be engaged, but has separate departments for Albanian and Albanian Literature”, it says in UP clarification.
According to them, this is not the first time unconfirmed writings relating to the University of Pristina aimed at damaging the image of the UPI.
